Using the Otper mobile app
The Otper mobile app keeps boards, cards, files, and notifications available when work happens away from a laptop. It uses the same account, permissions, and board access model as the web app.
Step 1 - Install and sign in
Install Otper on iOS or Android, then sign in with your existing account. Your teams, boards, roles, and notification preferences follow the same workspace permissions used on web.
Get the Otper app
Install the latest mobile version for iOS or Android.
Step 2 - Grant permissions only when needed
Mobile permissions should support the task you are doing, not create broad access by default. Otper requests device permissions when a feature needs them, and you can revoke them from device settings at any time.
- Camera - attach a new photo to a card or update a profile picture.
- Photo library and files - attach existing media or documents to cards.
- Notifications - receive mention alerts, due-date reminders, and selected workspace updates.
Step 3 - Use mobile for timely updates
Use the mobile app to review boards, move cards, comment on active work, upload files, respond to mentions, and keep due dates current. This is especially useful for field work, client visits, travel days, and any workflow where evidence or decisions happen outside the office.
Step 4 - Tune notifications
Notification settings let you control how much activity reaches you. Prioritize high-signal events such as mentions, assignments, due dates, and important card or board activity. Reduce lower-value alerts so the messages that matter still get attention.
